    Situation

To provide young people with dance and theatre making experience and access to professionals to assist them making decisions about their future training in the arts. To provide valuable support and an introduction to the discipline of creating dance and theatre, creative and social skills and increasing levels of self confidence particularly in a challenging climate of limited further and higher education places, increased costs of education and high youth unemployment.

    Solution

To provide professional creative support, and open access for vulnerable young people who experience disadvantage through limited opportunities that exist in rural Fife, exacerbated by the current recession and funding cuts to arts charities and bodies like The Byre Theatre and many others.
