One of the biggest challenges we face is transporting our children to and from school in a safe and cost effective way. This is hindered by the state of public transport and rising increases in fuel prices. To date, SOS Africa has relied upon increasingly unpredictable and hazardous public taxi services and our own volunteers, to take its children to and from school. However, as the numbers of children supported by the charity increases, we need to find a more suitable solution to this problem.

The purchase of this minibus will allow our volunteers to pick up the children we support, and take them to and from school. They will then be able to rely on getting to school on time and returning home to undertake their chores in the home. We will be able to provide this service in a financially viable and sustainable way, as well as protecting the children from the possible dangers of using public transport services.
