To create opportunities for the youth in Northern Ireland from all sides to have access to the highest calibre of classical musicians, as a source of inspiration and motivation to reach their full potential as young musicians. There is currently no major international representation of Classical Music in Derry, the winner of the 2013 City of Culture.

To inspire future generations of classical musicians in Northern Ireland, to support musical talent and its development in the city of Derry. The Festival will give the youth free access to the world's finest musicians, through participation in workshops and masterclasses, and attendance at high profile evening concerts. Direct access to the performances, advice and teaching from these musicians will have a lasting impact on inspiring talent to strive and realize the highest international level.
