Currently volunteer helpers and other visitors stay off-site (typically up to 45 minutes ravel away) thus losing time and incurring costs which cannot be applied to the project. We are also looking to add hospitality training to our portfolio of life-skills

The provision of on-site accommodation will ensure that Kira Farm project gains by having visitors spending longer on site thus enabling them to see the activities which occur in the evening and early morning, socialise with the trainees and generally assist for a longer period. Without this facility we cannot develop the "hands on" hospitality training we seek. Currently this is mainly theoretical.
