Gabrieli Roar works on the principles that age, background or means should never be a barrier to experiencing core classical culture. Classical music should not be the preserve of the middle-aged middle classes; it must be made available to all. There is increasingly a lack of opportunity for ordinary young people to perform great choral music. Youth choirs across the country achieve wonderful things with limited resources; it is our aim to support and expand the scope of their work.

We offer young people opportunites to sing great choral repertoire, participating in performances of a high-standard alongside professional musicians. These events are supported by in-depth, year-round training that gives young singers a broad understanding of vocal technique and choral repertoire and the confidence to participate fully in performances. Our aim is to build personal confidence, enhance enjoyment and increase opportunities enabling young people to engage with great art.
