In 2014, Classical Opera's programme of performances, recordings, and our unrivalled work with young opera talent will include Mozart's final masterpiece, La clemenza di Tito at Cadogan Hall, and Il re Pastore in the recording studio, as well as a new project for our superb young artists.

Mozart is arguably the most famous composer of all time, and opera his most important genre. Many of his operas are rarely performed and little known despite their astonishing beauty and accomplishment. There are few recordings or performances of Mozart‚Äôs less famous works, and there is a real need to accessibly bring this music to wide audiences, and support new and emerging operatic talent.
Performances and our recording in 2014 will bring the music of Mozart and his contemporaries to the widest possible audience, championing and illuminating rarely performed works both in the concert hall and recording studio. The company has an unrivalled reputation for nurturing and supporting young opera talent, and our Associate Artist programme and dedicated Young Artist project will offer prestigious training and professional performance opportunities to the most talented emerging artists.
