Alpha aims to help the millions of people around the world who want to give their friends and communities an opportunity to explore the meaning of life in a non-threatening and informal setting. The Alpha Course is for people to run anywhere in the world for anyone who wishes to attend. It is supported by Archbishops, Cardinals, Bishops, Metropolitans and leaders of all the major denominations.

The Alpha Course is a 15 session course that allows anyone to explore what they think about life in an unpressurised environment. Alpha is there to resource anyone who wants to run a course for their friends or communities and give them an opportunity to explore the meaning of life. They’ll hear a talk, have some food and get to discuss what they really think with other guests. The talks cover topics such as: Why did Jesus die? How does God guide us? And Does God heal today?
