Up to 10,000 young people were permanently excluded from school in 2010. The cost of exclusion is huge - to the individual and society. Latest statistics suggest that the cost of exclusion to society is £1 billion and can often lead to a life of unemployment and, in many cases a life of crime. Solution
Working closely with schools,TLG will provide programmes to groups of young people,of alternative education and behaviour mentoring to re-engage young people with learning. OFSTED registered education combined with specialist experience will see young people catch up on missed education and raise aspirations to re-determine the direction of their futures. We will seek to repeat our current track record of 96% success in this.
