    Situation

It is expensive to present outstanding young artists with paid opportunities to perform in prestigious venues with orchestra, and to make professional recordings, as box office receipts do not cover costs and recording companies no longer have the resources that they used to. We nurture our young artists, selecting roles which will help them to develop their craft at the beginning of their careers.

    Solution

The Classical Opera Company's work at Kings Place, Wigmore Hall and other prestigious London venues provides young artists with invaluable performance opportunities, and the chance to sing in beautiful, intimate venues that suit perfectly their burgeoning voices. The recording programme provides an important international platform to the artists involved. As well as nurturing young artists we run an Associate Artists Scheme, providing financial assistance and support.
