Situation

A previously very successful & popular Arts Festival had to be dropped because of lack of organisers amongst the artistic fraternity. This had a marked effect on the local community and visitors to the area, both in terms of people's enjoyment and the local economy.

Solution

Craignish Community Company (C3), with its experience of project management, will organise and co-ordinate both the Art Exhibition and all the other events, allowing the participating artists and craftspeople to concentrate on their particular disciplines. The re-instatement of the festival will bring all the community together in a common purpose and attract visitors to the area thus contributing to the local economy.
