The residents of Welborne and the surrounding villages have little access to the arts or opportunities to express their creative talents. People may also feel excluded because arts establishments are perceived as middle class and “not for us”. Young people may not be encouraged by parents.
We “bring the arts to the people” living in a rural area of Norfolk, but there is always a sense of fun in what we offer. We inspire residents and festival visitors to develop learning and skills. We encourage progression to further arts activities and personal development. We develop new audiences for future activities in Welborne and the arts in rural Norfolk.
