    Situation

Older unpaid carers need regular respite breaks and the opportunity to enjoy friendly ‘normal’ fun activities. To mark National Carers’ Week, Age Concern Dacorum is taking older carers from Tring and Berkhamsted in Hertfordshire for a pub lunch to the Hare and Hounds in Ledburn to enjoy a good meal and some friendly conversation. For Hemel Hempstead carers, we are taking carers for afternoon tea in St Albans and on a visit to the local Roman remains and museum. Costs: Minibus hire £30 per outing plus £1 per mile (from Hemel Hempstead) Lunch costs £15 per head Afternoon tea costs £12.50 per head Museum costs £2 per head
