Toni (CEO) and Andy Shaw are running in two events this year, the London 10K on the 14th July and the Basingstoke Half Marathon on the 6th Oct. The aim is to raise £3,000 for a new software/hardware upgrade to help make the grant application process a lot easier for our small groups.

Situation
Last year we awarded 302 grants totalling £643,000 to local community groups around Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. All of our grant programmes are operated and awarded through online resources; our website, online application forms and through our online database. For this reason it is crucial that we have up-to-date hardware, and software so that we can continue to process as many grants as possible efficiently each year maximising the chance of groups being awarded funds.
Solution
By running the 10k London Run and the Basingstoke Half Marathon Toni and Andy Shaw hope to raise £3,000 which will help us to replace our four year old computers which are slowing us down a little bit, upgrade our software and allow us to run our admin and grants processes with greater speed and efficiency.
