The reason behind the project is to provide a centre where young people can learn and develop new skills side by side with older members of the community. This will role model life long learning and help to break down barriers to learning and the stigma the young people have in the community. The first project will be a film club and is supported by Rural Media. £15,281.69 is needed for the improvements and to up date the lighting and heating and to install a cafe area. We also need a youth worker to coordinate activities, to work alongside the young people and to drive the project forward. £25,000 is needed for the salary of the youth worker Total costs £40,281.69
