Frantic Assembly is celebrated at home and abroad for creating thrilling, energetic and unforgettable theatre. The company attracts new and young audiences with work that reflects contemporary culture. Vivid and dynamic, Frantic Assembly's unique physical style combines movement, design, music and text. The company runs an extensive Creative Learning and Training Programme working with over 5,000 participants a year. Frantic : Ignition is a national initiative developing new ways of increasing young men’s involvement in the arts: engaging creativity; developing physical theatre skills; raising aspirations and celebrating achievement. Frantic Assembly has been funded by Esmee Fairbairn Foundation to deliver four Ignition projects over two years, benefitting over 270 young men aged 16 – 20 across the UK. We are now looking for additional donations to support the continuation of this project in 2011 and the dissemination of a model of best practice for engaging young men with the arts.
