The course aims to: - Create knowledge around victims rights in restorative justice and the Victims' Directive and its implications. - Improve professional’s skills and knowledge on how victims are treated and interacted with. - Provide professionals, agencies and services with the appropriate tools and best practice guidance. - Develop techniques in responding to victims and offenders, unpacking and exploring restorative justice.

- Half a day face-to-face training. - Training manual and accompanying documents. - Background material to the Victim’s Directive, with a focus on specific articles relating to restorative justice. - Personal reflection and group discussion in response to case studies showing practical examples. - CPD Certification (20 credits). - Follow up, telephone support over a 6 month period.
