This project will equip outstanding leaders from around the world with skills for sustainable decision making as well as offering them a lifelong support network of their peers as a resource to help them address sustainability challenges at local, regional and global levels.

Situation
The challenges of sustainable development are huge – poverty is deepening, populations are growing, natural resources are diminishing and the international community has failed to tackle climate change effectively.
Solution
LEAD believes that people are the key to change and that complex sustainable development challenges can only be tackled by investing in leadership. Our principal activity is training designed to equip a new generation with the skills, knowledge and support network to steer humanity onto a sustainable path. Since 1991 we have worked with 2200 leaders from over 90 countries. This project will support leaders who would not otherwise be able to join the programme due to lack of funding.
