    Situation

Little Rock started in single rented room with 5 students......it now has 20 staff and over 500 pupils. Your money will go towards the cost of building a new centre. Space is at a premium for Little Rock, who are struggling to find space to provide education to all 500 pupils - so a new centre is essential to be able to support more children throughout Kibera.

    Solution

The organisation is growing fast and reaching more and more children, and supporting the parents to gain a sustainable income, as well as trying innovative ideas - such as substituting a water donation for school fees, or providing parents a space to do their washing. A new centre will carry on this great work. It will also provide, safe and positive space for young disabled children - creating a great environment for them to learn and develop with the support of Little Rock's expert staff.
