    Situation

The existing listed building will be preserved, with new facilities being provided to meet and exceed today's housing and care requirements. The new home will be part of the local community to enable residents to feel they are an important part of it and to maintain an interest in community life. Our activities programme is person-centred and specifically designed for each individual. The cost of building the new Care Home is in the region of £6million. A significant level of charitable income has already been raised by MHA from supporters throughout the UK. MHA has no shareholders and charitable income is vital to its work. Residents will be moving into the new home during the summer in 2010. Funds for the provision of a sensory garden, a communal coffee shop and other equipments would be appreciated.
