Winston's Wish wants to stop the closure of the only dedicated children's bereavement support centre in Wigan. Hundreds of children a year were referred to the centre but in a tough economic climate where large scale funding is getting harder & harder to find, demand proved too great on the centre's limited resources and it was forced to close.

Recognising the huge need for the centre, Winston's Wish have taken it over and is fighting for funding to re-establish services in the area. 20 years of experience has allowed Winston's Wish to create the UK's leading bereavement support services for children, helping thousands a year. We plan to replicate these in the Wigan Centre, creating a professional, sustainable form of delivery.
