    Situation

In the face of a global climate change the focus for conservation must be on the whole landscape with the full engagement of the communities that live within it. Our work has identified programmes of work across the areas of accessible natural greenspace; wildlife and geodiversity; lifelong learning in environmental education; healthy and more active lifestyles. Our wide ranging partnership includes local and regional government, Governnment agencies, the voluntarey sector, busines and, most importantly, local communities. We have already identified over £26M of activities and investment in key greenspaces and an unparalleled Community Involvement Programme that will reach over 75% of the Black Country's 1.2 million inhabitants, focuse on many of the most deprived wards in England.
