It feels fitting that a fundraising initiative to meet the needs of our service-users should test our own resilience and resourcefulness.
It feels fitting that a fundraising initiative to meet the needs of our service-users should test our own resilience and resourcefulness.
There are high levels of vulnerability within the female homelessness population - mental ill-health, drug & alcohol dependencies, childhoods spent in care, experiences of sexual abuse and other traumatic life experiences are all commonplace. Rough sleeping is extremely dangerous for homeless women - many have been physically attacked, verbally abused and sexually assaulted. 70% of KairosWWT services-users have slept rough and safe accommodation remains a key need for the women we support.
By gaining your support and sponsorship, Kairos' team effort will contribute to core services provided by Kairos that have a direct impact on the lives of vulnerable women in Coventry.
