Situation

The London International Piano Competition was founded to create a high-profile launchpad for outstandingly talented young pianists in the UK's capital city, and one of the most prestigious international cultural centres.

Solution

The Competition offers unique career opportunities, consistently attracted some of the best young pianists of their generation, and award winners have included Paul Lewis, Simon Trpceski, Leon McCawley, Ashley Wass, Antti Siirala, Herbert Schuch & Behzod Abduraimov. General donations are welcomed but there are opportunities to support specific aspects of the Competition: 1st Prize (£17,000), 2nd Prize (£12,000), 3rd Prize (£8,000) and four Educational Awards of £2,000 each.
