IDE-UK is a small and rapidly changing organisation with a vision to become the European policy, advocacy and fundraising arm of the IDE-International family bringing added value to project and programme work in Africa and Asia by taking advantage of its base in London, at the heart of Europe.

Situation
As a five year organisation IDE-UK has a backround in working alongside key international players and IDE offices in Africa and Asia to help poor farmers to double their income through the development, design and manufacture of low-cost technologies that help to lift, store and distribute water. To date the organisation has played a significant role in supporting country programmes in fundraising. IDE-UK is undergoing signficiant board development and seeking a new direction to keep pace with changes in the international development field in order to better support poor farmers. This development programme will include development of the governing board to bring in new skills, strengthen organisations systems and procedures, develop sustainable funding plans for the organisation and develop an increased policy and advocacy role. We are seeking individuals with the skills and finance to play a key role in this development process.
