    Situation

We have developed an exhibition on climate change, consisting of 7 related zones. We intend to supply each school with a set of these posters to display to the whole student body. Alongside this we would deliver a workshop session for a year group to accompany each zone and a pack of extended learning materials to support teaching staff. We also use an exhibition vehicle - Light Fantastic, complete with interactive games and informative graphics and giveaway items such as low energy lightbulbs. All UK schools now have 8 gateways to sustainability Food & Drink; Energy & Water; Travel & Traffic; Purchasing & Waste; Buildings & Grounds; Inclusion & Participation; Local Wellbeing and Global Dimension with the targets to be met by 2020.This also would support the Ecoschools project by enabling existing member schools to gain more awards and encouraging new schools to join this excellent scheme. MEA would like to be able to make this service available to Schools throughout Shropshire, with the potential to replicate the work elsewhere in the Midlands.
