    Situation

Haileybury is running a capital fundraising campaign to accelerate the building programme at the School with plans for a new Modern Languages Centre. We are seeking to fund the Modern Language Centre project through development income. The project should total £2.5 million. We have already received generous donations which have formed a foundation from which we will endeavour to increase over the next three years. The Modern Languages Centre will be a state of the art, two storey buidling with 9 classrooms, a library, a lecture theatre and interactive languages hub. The building will be totally financed through the schools own fundraisig efforts over the next two years. The launch date for the fundraising appeal for the Modern Languages Centre was September 2007. A number of fundraising events are planned to include a reunion of past pupils, a golf day, buy a brick campaign, corporate sponsorship campaign, a fundraising dinner and series of business breakfasts. Donations can be made for the capital project with sponsorship opportunities from £50 - £500,000. Just like the rest of the school, we have set ourselves high targets which will be challenging, and, if met, beneficial to all of our current and future pupils. Haileybury has ambitous and exciting plans for the future which also include offering more bursaries to support those who choose to study in an traditional, academic and dynamic environment.
