the project is trying to solve is more Independence as our disabled members live with families who do everything for them which is very nice. this project will help learn lifeskills which will help in their every day life and confidendence to go and try new things or just go out and do what most people take for granted. Also this project will help families(carers) to have a rest from caring so they can catch up with other family members and to take a well earn break so can carry on caring.

the project will solve the problem by taking a group at a time which will help each other with the volunteer carers taking a back seat so the disabled person can work with others in the group and learn likeskills together. We shall start a couple of months before the break by having meetings which will help to learn how to book for a holiday, then book the holiday, what we need etc. Then when we are there how to make choices tec. Then after the break talk through what has been learnt.
