Historically the Centre has provided children with a seven day holiday, however in 2006, due to insufficient funding; the holiday duration was reduced to five days and the capacity for hosting twenty two children was limited to fourteen for the same reason. Funding is required for the employment of further care and house staff; to provide the necessary facilities for successful holidays; for the purchase and running of a second mini-bus and for the extra provision of leisure, social, educational needs for the holiday programme The annual required expenditure, including the initial capital cost, is budgeted at £100,000.00
