    Situation

    If a person in recovery has a tramatic event in their life they are more likely to relapse. This project is about keeping people in recovery on track, to prevent relapse to addiction by providing an easy access service. Promoting people to become economically active / moving them off benefits Raising awareness amongst employers about the benefits of employing people in recovery - helping an addict find work can make all the difference between their recovery and relapse.

    Solution

    We will develop a short to mid-term employment focused service that combines our organisational skills and principals as an early intervention model that supports people by: Raising confidence Reducing barriers Providing work placements Teaching CV and interview skills Providing access to learning and supporting them to gaining a qualification Providing access to qualified staff support Providing access to suitable services / signposting.
