Youth Team - Trainees

To employ young people aged 18 to 25 on yearly traineeship programmes at 25 hours per week. To reduce unemployment. To raise achievement levels of these trainees. To provide a range of accredited training opportunities in; sports, education, youthwork, outdoor education, play work etc.

Reduction of youth unemployment. To redress the specific training needs by combining work experience and training together. Prepare a workforce that is solid and powerful to the economy of Bradford. Young people are able to claim a year long reference point. Support young people to access further education and employment. Raise self esteem and confidence.


Through employment of a team of trainees. Through delivery of training. Through 1-2-1 intensive support; counselling, advice, pay for child care, reimburse travel costs and subsistence. Through active work experience opportunities. Through our organisation make network connections. Through raised self esteem and confidence.
