The Granary was rescued from Hanbury, Worcestershire in the 1970s. Today some of the fabric of the building is starting to decay and emergency conservation work is needed to ensure it is preserved for the future.

    Situation

    The conservation project will provide: - Structural repair to tie beam on north gable - Replace damaged and missing roof tiles - Re-align north-west brick column - Replace sections of wall plate where necessary - Replace defective south section of south gable tie beam - Re-pint perimeter joints of infill panels to south and north walls

    Solution

    By conserving the identified failing areas of the granary it will enable to structure to become stable, be conserved for furture generations, and enable visitors and school groups to use the buildings.
