Space of Waste will design and build stylish spaces for a range of uses from garden offices, education spaces to workshops or even wildlife hides! And the beauty is that they're made of business waste materials and powered by renewable energy. Using the huge resource of business waste in Yorkshire and the Humber availabe via the online waste exchange, Space of Waste will create beautiful buildings low in environmental impact and high in aesthetic appeal. A prototype pavilion has been designed and constructed by postgraduate architecture students from the University of Sheffield and was built in Tudor Square in Sheffield and on display for a week. It has since been shortlisted for the prestigious Architects' Journal Small Projects Award. We need finance to develop the concept into viable permanent buildings for sale as income generation to maintain our free and important waste exchange service to business.
