    Situation

This project is innovative as it aims to support the parents of teenagers with behaviours that challenge, rather than the teenagers themselves. We provide parents with empowerment opportunities so they can take control and change family relationships for the better. Often these parents are excluded by language communication difficulties, cultural differences or lack of knowledge of the services available to help them. We promote inclusion in the community, by offering parents anything from a listening ear, and showing them how to access organisations and services, to full learning programmes where parents have the opportunity to share experiences and learn from the experiences of others. This includes: 1:1 time Group Support Personal Life Coaching Parenting Skills Classes For further details of the positive differences this project has made to family relationships, please contact Linda Richards.
