Social isolation and loneliness are now considered two of the biggest problems to society. Most shockingly, evidence shows that a lack in social interaction is connected to premature death. This is because loneliness and solitude put a massive strain on physical and mental health. This, alongside winter, with its shorter and darker days, makes it even harder to leave the house and interact with others.

We are building a community hub for people who are most vulnerable to social isolation. Here adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health issues can come together, through social activities. Building social networks, making new friends and sharing experiences fight the strains of solitude and help make people more confident and happy.
