    Situation

Lymphomas are the most common group of cancers in teenagers and young adults (15–24 years old) and every year in the UK, around 450 teenagers and young people are diagnosed. They will experience a range of powerful emotions throughout their treatment and beyond and need the right information to meet their very individual needs.

    Solution

Our Young Person’s Guide to Lymphoma is written and illustrated specifically for young people and explains all about lymphomas, their treatments and side effects, in order to provide reassurance and alleviate their fear. It also includes sections on coping with feelings and looking after yourself. Copies are sent out by request to health professionals and families across the UK or downloaded from our website.
