The Music Hall Aberdeen is currently undergoing a multi million transformation. The aim of the project is help regenerate the city centre through improving the quality and impact of the arts in Aberdeen, bring new audiences to the city whilst preserving a heritage asset of national siginificance.

The Music Hall is a national treasure with decades of wonderful history, having played host to a rich calibre of performers from Charles Dickens to Emelie Sande. However, currently there is a need for change for the arts in Aberdeen, new furtures are needed to improve the accessibilty of the building and attract new artitists in turn building new audiences. Lack of learning facilities have meant young people and commutites lack the opportunity to create music.
The Music Hall redevelopment aims to attact audiences both in and outside the city. Improving access to the building through undertaking essential maintienece whilst preseving the building. Allowing for a more engaging and welcoming building for audiences. Younger audiences will be able to enjoy up to date creative learning facilities whilst a more diverse and distinctive programme will be devised for older audiences in the afterrnoon.
