The problem we are trying to solve is that of child on parent violence increasingly present in chaotic homes but are often hidden, unacknowledged and untreated. This can lead to social isolation, neglect and increased mental health issues. Our project aim is to improve and enhance the lives of children by reducing violence and repairing broken relationships and family bonds. Child to parent violence affects the parents, the child and the siblings.

Non-Violent Resistance therapy (NVR) is technique developed as a psychological intervention for aggression and self-destructive behaviour in young people. NVR is designed to help parents and carers to: ‚óè De-escalate, reduce anger and aggression in the interaction with the child. ‚óè Take action aimed at promoting negotiation, reconciliation and restoration of fractured relationships. ‚óè Build a support network between home, school and community.
