To ensure that vulnerable young people have an enjoyable, creative and safe experience of the summer holiday break. The children we are targeting are from low income families, at risk of boredom and frustration and from the dangerous inner city street, with anti-social and even criminal activities. Many of the young people eat too much junk food, lack exercise and are overweight. We plan to target this issue in our activities and encourage them to eat healthily and lead more healthy lifestyles
We will keep the young people safe, enthused and give them access to a wide variety of interesting and creative activities. They will have a focus to their day , make lots of new friends and gain new interests and knowledge to be used in their lives ahead. Activities will be geared towards leading healthy lives with an emphasis on lots of exercise and sport, eating fruit and vegetable, role plays, drama and singing to encourage the young people in this.
