HRNet is a unique online inter-active advice service that will benefit at least 3,000 charities across the UK - helping them become more effective and achieve long term sustainability. HRNet offer charities a simple, no cost method of gaining expert advice and support from a volunteer panel of 60 senior HR practioners working within the commercial sector.

    Situation

    HRNet has been trialed and has more than proved its value during a 2 year pilot scheme. Currently supporting 400 charities with all their Human Resource management needs - the HRNet service is perfectly positioned for scaling up membership numbers to at least 3,000 and is investment ready. HRNet leverages in free business and commercial HR expertise to deliver a moderated service that's a skills sharing forum which enables members to explore complex or confidential HR issues, and provide an individual tailored response to a charities HR needs. HR management support is becoming increasingly important within the voluntary sector as more charities compete for service contracts, and are faced with managing growth and changes in legislation. HRNet can cost effectively provide this support.
