A creative consultation with minority groups about what an 'ideal town' would look like. The process will be filmed and the results will be shared at a conference at the Sage in gateshead on 24th Feb 09.

How much do town planners think about the needs of minority groups when planning town centre development. Do they understand what the needs of people with learning disabilities are, for example? We want to bring minority groups together to create a visual map of an 'ideal' town. The results should inform a more social and inclusive approach to town planning and development. The cost of the conference to share the results of the consultation is approx £9,000. The costs of dvd production is estmiated at £1000.
