Priors Park is an area of deprivation with a high number of one parent families, people not in employment, no car, living in socail housing. Providing this low cost service will create opportunities for parents either with support or career. There is no other childcare service in the community and to access other schemes families would have to travel further afar and more expensive. The playscheme would support the young people and families, building confidence, reduce isolation.

The playscheme will be within walking distance, low cost and provide support to families who require it. The children will be looked after by qualified staff in a safe and secure environment with fun, healthy activities, learning new skills and meeting others, while parents can access services they require for career opportunities, help and support, reducing social isolation and distress.
