Problems caused by poverty. Illness and stunted development due to malnutrition and a lack of knowledge amongst parents. Lack of income amongst women - need skills and microcredit.

By training existing community health workers, we find that communities' health improves, aand children begin to thrive. Each project is tailor-made - in W Timor we have also initiated communal vegetable gardening, fish and chiken farming to improve diet. In Sumatra we have funded rebuilding of pre-school, trained CHWs from 15 villages. See our Facebook page for photos. Separate project in slums of Mumbai making a huge difference; also sewing training amongst refugees at UNHCR in Baku Azerbaijan
