There are many talented kids in the rural areas of Cameroon who are eager to learn but lack the means to achieve their ambition. LTSD seeks to offer to those who make it to college some of the resources easily available to their peers in urban and developed areas. It makes all the difference when a student can see, touch and use a computer, hold a book or any other learning equipment during a lesson. The knowledge gained is definitely stronger when one also experiences the subject being taught.

Learning tools will supplement teaching and learning methods by facilitating the work of the teachers, adding an extra value to the education of the students. This will have a positively high impact on the community and the pupils; open up new educational and economic opportunities in schools and the rural area and also foster a spirit of self reliance. Most of all, pupils will study in their own environment and compete on an equal level with their peers in private urban schools.
