To collate and preserve material about the local history of Bacton-on-Sea, Norfolk and engage the wider public via exhibitions, membership of the local history group, digital and printed or printed media. This is a co-operation between the village hall trust and local history group.

    Situation

    The importance of preserving local history for future generations. Engage the villagers in creating a visual - printed material, online and story boards exhibition, which in turn can encourage others to approach history through local places, people and events. Cutting across age groups and engage the young as well as the old on various levels.

    The material will be preserved for the future and presented in a visual exhibition, which will increase knowledge and encourage engagement.
