We need to improve the quality of our pastures without the use of artificial fertilisers and herbicides. The fields have too many buttercups and daisies to the detriment of the grazing. There are natural products to deal with the problem but they are costly. Treatment will cost £6,000.

Situation
The increase of buttercups and daisies in the fields is reducing the grazing area and choking out the beneficial herbs in the permanent pasture.
Solution
We will treat the fields with lime, to address the high acid content of the soil which will in turn reduce the growth of buttercups and daisies, and with a seaweed based organic fertiliser to encourage growth of the grasses and herbs.
