PROVISION OF WHEELCHAIR & PUSHCHAIR ACCESSIBLE TRANSPORT SERVICES: our passengers tend to include some of the most vulnerable in the borough who require vehicles with fold out steps, hydraulic tail lifts, and ramps.
Solution
Accessible vehicles with fold out steps, hydraulic tail lifts, ramps, and room for wheelchairs and pushchairs provide the means for improving the lives and well-being of people who are unable to access ordinary transport. Modifying a minibus in this way means that older people, children with special needs, and other vulnerable people can visit hospitals & health centres, day care centres, grocery stores, town centres, schools, and all the other places they need to go.
