The Met is based in Derby Hall, a Grade 2 listed building situated in the heart of Bury. Since the start of 2016, we have been raising money to refurbish the building which is due to reopen in November. Help us to make the raise the final funds we need to achieve the best building possible.

Situation
The current layout of the venue derives from adaptation and piecemeal development of the building whose principal form originates from 1850. It does not meet the needs of the growing audiences now attending events, and servicing events is difficult and inefficient. We are now in the final stages of fund-raising for the campaign which will go towards finalising the building.
Solution
Achieving the full project budget will enable us to enhance public facilities and access, develop and conserve the building exterior, provide new heating and lighting systems, make better use of space, increase audience capacity and provide improved experience for artists and audiences.
