Each year 35,000 young people in the UK leave school without qualifications or skills. Providing young people with the most appropriate support so that they are given the best opportunity to achieve their potential is vital’

We have taken angling into schools to help youngsters realise their potential. Our belief is that education should be fun and inspirational. Fishing for Schools broadens skills and confidence; it fills the gap between fun and academia and offers students an alternative route to learning. The programme assists teachers delivering the Awards Scheme Development Accreditation Network (ASDAN) course and the National Open College Network Step-up course.
