Spinal Cord Injured people want support from someone who knows exactly what it's like and how they get on with their life. Lifelines for Life will extend the work of our Peer Support Officers, all of them spinal cord injured themselves, so they can give people that emotional support and advice.

Situation
Many newly injured people are discharged from hospitals to homes which haven't been adapted to their new needs. This leads to isolation and some people being confined to their homes. Our Peer Support team will visit people in their homes and provide them with the practical support that they need.
Solution
Lifelines for Life will extend the work of our Peer Support Officers, all of them spinal cord injured themselves. By extending the reach of the team we will be able to cover a network that covers the whole country and visit people in their homes.
