Supportline is the only free 24 hour helpline for victims and witnesses of any crime. Following the tragic terror attacks and incidents last year Victim Support took the decision to extend our operating hours and provide a 24 hour service for anyone affected. With your help, we can build its capacity and continue to run the service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, making sure that no victim is left to deal with the consequences of such traumatic events alone.

Last year Supportline answered 55,074 calls from people affected by crime and now the service regularly receives around 5,000 calls and 400 emails each month, from victims living in communities across England and Wales. On average the service makes in excess of 40 Local Authority or Police Safeguarding referrals a month. Without Supportline thousands of people affected by crime would not receive the support they require at the time they need it.
